Finally, cooler weather-I am happy!

In the spirit of Thanks Giving, the Staff at The Rocking Horse want to thank you for your continued interest in our work here, and for entrusting us with your most precious commodities. We hope that our service is friendly and courteous, professional and honest. February will herald our twentieth year in Fulshear serving hundreds of families since first opening our doors in 1991!

* I will be reviewing children’s files one age group at a time this month.

* So that you can make plans our Holiday closure this year will be as 

   follows:

   Thursday and Friday of Thanks Giving (25th and 26th Nov)

   Friday 24th, Monday 27th, Friday 31st December (due to days  

   Christmas and New Year falls.

   Please remember, these are staff holidays and as per our policies

   you are responsible for payment of these days if your child usually

   attends. As you are similarly paid for public holidays. Thank you.

* Always a tough one, it is necessary to increase our fees, this year we

   will be increasing school age fees from $50 to $55 per week, this is the

   first increase for school age children in six years. General enrollment

   will remain the same.

* Please check your child’s clothing-children stay healthier if we get them outdoors

    breathing fresh air, please ensure change of clothing left here reflects the season.

* The evacuation of our operations last week due to the water main break went extremely well

   Thank you parents!

* The school age children will be collecting items for Fulshear seniors a list will go home this weekend.

   I will be delivering meals on wheels the Wednesday of Thanks Giving and it would bring such joy to these

   citizens to receive a little extra. If  you can help we say Thank you!

*  We will serve the children (toddlers and pre k) a child friendly Thanks Giving on Tuesday 23rd November.

    In the past we have wasted so much good food by providing a full holiday table, last year we decided to cater to

   the young! Please let us know if your child will eat with us.

* I believe Huggins is closed Wednesday(?) Thursday and Friday (I will verify) please let your child’s teacher

   know if you need full day care those days (all children)

* Next week and the following we will be conducting assessments.

   Once again thank you for allowing us to partner with you in raising your child/ren and have a Happy and safe
